How weird is it to see a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker that doesn't have "NO" or "STOP" in front of it? Very. We're not in Northern California anymore...

Goodness. It's been a long time since I've updated this blog. Looking back at my previous entry, that seems like ages ago with a different me involved. Summer sure was fun < evil grin >. I don't believe in cross-posting so I am wondering if I should still keep this one. Feel free to voice your opinion.

What has the world come to? VH1 is broadcasting an "I Love the '90s" special and Britney Spears is going to release a greatest hits album (not to mention getting re-married). Stop making me feel older you media lugs! *shaking fist in air* In other news, I am going to TRY to act like I'm not in a hurry to meet my future and just let life happen to me. If I keep trying to catch up with it, I won't even notice that life is passing me by. I always focus on the bigger picture and the brighter future that I constantly strive for. I'm forgetting to have fun in the meantime! Well, I am when I stop to think about it...especially post-college...and especially especially the past few weeks

On Saturday, I had lunch with David and Charlie. Lots of laughter and 8-gua involved. Then Diana and I went to Emerybay for a quick fix. I bought nothing despite the holiday sales! Later that evening, I went out with the boys again for an adventure in Cupertino--a modern Chinatown. The best part was when we went to Tapioca Express and Charlie said there were some guys checking me out as I went in. I am crediting him with the INGENIOUS idea of having me go outside to talk to him on my cell so that he could tell me which guys were checking me out. That was so brilliant and so much fun! Now you too can try this at home

I was just daydreaming and I envisioned the mall at Christmastime. It fills my mind with fond memories that I can almost smell. Commercialistic as it may be, Christmas is still my favorite holiday. Yeah, this entry is completely random, but I'm trying to update more even if it's frivolous.

Hello peoples! I know some of you guys are sick of the previous blip being the top entry from me, and believe me it makes me sick to think of that stage of my life. Luckily, it was just a phase and I've DEFINITELY moved on.

So what's new you ask? Thanks to Yeh, dedicated readers have been up to date with my life. There's lots of fun stuff going on. I'm actually enjoying life and realizing how fun it is to hang out with friends, especially friends of friends My random thought of the moment is you know how most people (ahem, men) are afraid of commitment? Well, what do you do when you're afraid of non-commitment?!

Thanks to Yeh for this outrageously fun quiz. So here is my supposed "type":

I'd say I'd agree with the last sentence of their analysis. Attraction is about the total package. As for the guy above, he looks like he could go to Berkeley. Maybe he does...

Favorite Qualities
Your photo choices suggest a man over 35 is probably getting a little old for your tastes
You seemed interested in dating a man at least 25 or older
Wide and square-shaped faces
So-called "Ecto-Mesomorphs," with narrow chins and nicely angular faces
Light brown hair
Dark brown hair

Favorite Looks
Some may call one of your types "Pretty Boys," but all you know is that they're gorgeous. The combination of classic good looks with small noses, beautiful eyes, and full lips is hard to resist. These guys tend to be clean shaven, have clear skin, and get good hair cuts. They're taking good care of themselves so they can be "pretty" just for you! [Well, you and the 1 in 3 women (33%) that are also after them!]

Another of the "looks" that you consistently noticed has been described as "Ruggedly Handsome." These men usually have strong, angular faces and "chiseled" features. Forget small button noses! You like men with strong, manly noses, balanced with an equally prominent chin. A tan and weathered look further adds to their overall impression of masculinity. Only 1 in 10 women (9%) are uniquely drawn to this type of man over a more traditional mainstream type.

Interestingly, some of the features you liked are not especially popular. They're not what usually defines "mainstream" attractiveness for men. But who cares what the mainstream thinks?!

Unique Tastes In Men: You are open to seeing a variety of men as handsome. Sure, men with "movie star" good looks catch your eye, but you are often equally wowed by more normal "cute" guys. You're not one to judge people based on their looks. In fact, you're genuinely drawn to men that others might dismiss. Maybe it's because you don't buy into society's checklist for "mainstream" attractiveness. Instead, you notice unique features like a strong nose, beautiful eyes, or a cute butt, that make some men special in your eyes. For you, attraction is about the total package.

Yesterday we went to Il Porcino in Albany for our annual BST Banquet. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was so cute and quaint. I'm gonna come back for that, and the fact that they're so nice there. Everyone got all gussied up (Took lots of pix cuz how often do you get to see pretty gals in pretty dresses?) and I had a lot of fun. Fang made it great with her "presentation" at the end. She gave everyone gifts and made us feel special for all the hard work this semester. I really like my memories book! It was very thoughtful, Fang. Diana and Charlene were so right in saying that without Fang there would be no BST. Next year's crew is gonna have to try and match up!
